“Alex – Jack Russel Terrier” was named the winner in the drawing contest – a dog!
Wanting to keep the importance of the public decision, the share of the 2 types of voting was equal: the public vote 50% and the jury vote 50%. The members of the jury were: OCTAVIAN FRECEA, VELIKA STOICA and ADRIAN BĂLUȚĂ.
The winning design will be the basis for the creation of one of the zoomorphic characters from the animated film at the ABIFF Festival, which will take place between July 9 and 11, 2021 in Bucharest.
THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER AND THE AWARD OF THE PRIZE WILL BE MADE AT THE AWARD FESTIVAL WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE CLOSING GALA OF THE ABIFF 2021 FESTIVAL.

Description:
We invite you to enter the third drawing competition within the ABIFF Project: Draw a dog of any breed (including mestizo) and any age!
The drawing should illustrate an entire figure (from head to toe). The position of the character can be static or in motion, as long as you can see all the elements of its figure.

* Following the reactions of the public and the notifications received, based on Art. 9 of the “Terms and Conditions”, we decided to modify the judging method, trying to weigh the decision of the public by the vote of a specialized jury.
We want to keep the importance of the public decision, therefore, the share of the 2 types of voting will be equal: the public vote 50% and the jury vote 50%
The members of the jury of the dog drawing contest will be: OCTAVIAN FRECEA, VELIKA STOICA and ADRIAN BĂLUȚĂ.
The public vote will continue until February 17, 2021!
The drawing declared the winner by the public vote will be the basis for the creation of one of the zoomorphic characters in the animated film of the ABIFF Festival.
Its action will take place in Romania and will describe the relationship between a boy / girl member of the majority (Romanian) and a girl / boy belonging to an ethnic minority (cohabitant / emigrant / refugee depending on the public vote – all characters will be generated by the Contests drawing within the ABIFF Project). The 2 main characters will go through different adventures trying to train the same dog, each in their mother tongue.
Within the ABIFF Project, a total of 4 drawing contests, 2 music contests and the online game will be organized, which will lead to the completion of the script, drawing an animated short film.
Participations rules:
The character must be original and not copied from another creator.
The background must be simple or non-existent, in order to highlight the character as well as possible.
You can use any character illustration technique: traditional (on paper), 2D digital, 3D, sculpture, collage, the limit is just your imagination!
The format in which the drawing will be sent is .jpg, with A4 size.
The decision on the winner is final. No appeals are accepted.
The organizer does not charge any fee for registration for the contest.
There is no age limit for Participants.
Competitors from any country can register.
For the Winners of the Contests who have not yet reached the age of 18, the consent of the parent, the legal guardian is required.
THE DATE OF ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNING MATERIAL DOES NOT MATCH THE DATE OF ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER AND / OR AWARD OF THE PRIZE.
THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER AND THE AWARD CEREMONY WILL BE MADE AT THE AWARD FESTIVAL WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE CLOSING GALA OF THE ABIFF 2021 FESTIVAL.
