ABIFF Interviews – Laurențiu Damian

Kristina Cepraga, Executive Director of the ABIFF Festival, will have as a guest Laurențiu Damian, Romanian director and screenwriter, doctoral professor at the National University of Theater and Cinematography I.L. Caragiale from Bucharest and President of the Romanian Filmmakers Union.

Author of over 600 articles published in specialized magazines on film history and aesthetics, Laurențiu Damian published the books “Elisabeta Bostan – where are you as a child?” and “About Documentation … and Even More.”

He has directed over 100 documentaries, short and feature films, experimental films, for which he has received valuable awards, including:

Laurențiu Damian presented the show Romanian Film – Generations, Poets, Authors on TVR Cultural, a show dedicated to Romanian film. The “Friday” of the film has thus become a way to commemorate important creations in the history of our cinema.
