We invite you to meet Elena Ciolacu, the one who won the Gopo Award “Young Hope” 2019 for directing the animated short film “The Little Hero” 😉

Passionate since childhood about stories and cartoons, Elena Ciolacu studied illustration and animation at Coventry University in Great Britain.
The first animated short film “Remember Me” tells the story of a Romanian soldier on the Eastern Front of the Second World War.
Another remarkable project made by Elena is the animation with the theme Vlad Țepeș, which she made in just 7 months, at the initiative of Mr. Vasile Lupașc.This animation can be watched at the Bucharest International Animation Film Festival – ABIFF, which will take place between July 9-11, 2021 ❤
