An important component of the festival, in addition to the film screenings that will continue throughout September, is the organization of masterclasses for students with industry professionals.

Between September 17-18, 2021, the third Masterclass organized within ABIFF 2021 will take place, which will be held by Irina Lucan Arjoca and Laurențiu Oprea, on the topic of copyright, addressing students at art faculties.

The International Animation Film Festival – ABIFF, organized by ABI Fundație, is in full swing in Bucharest and over 30 other cities in the country, at: Cinema City (Arad, Bacău, Brăila, Baia Mare, Buzău, AFI Cotroceni Bucharest, City Park Constanța, Iulius Mall Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Galați, Iulius Mall Iași, Vivo Mall Pitești, Ploiești Shopping City, Piatra Neamț, Rm. The project “ABIFF – Bucharest International Animation Film Festival” is organized by ABI Foundation and is funded by the EEA Grants 2014 – 2021 within the RO-CULTURE Program. The total budget of the project is 943,800 lei (195,492.77 euros), and the value of the non-reimbursable financing is 849,420 lei (175,943.49 euros). The project runs for a period of 18 months.
ABI Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that initiates and supports projects in the cultural, social and sports fields. Since 2010 she has been involved as a partner in the initiatives: United Against Racism and Radicalization Awareness Network.

The EEA grants represent the contribution of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway to reducing economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area and to strengthening bilateral relations with the 15 beneficiary states in Eastern and Southern Europe and the Baltic States.
